HMS has committed to maintaining a safe and healthy educational and work environment in which no member of the Harvard community is discriminated against based on sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity by exclusion from participation, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination from any University program or activity. 

The Harvard Medical School has adopted the University-wide Interim Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy and Interim Other Sexual Misconduct Policy. In addition, the University’s Sexual and Gender Based Harassment policy addresses sexual harassment and other sexual misconduct alleged to have occurred between September 1, 2014, and August 14, 2020.
