Each of us shares a responsibility in preventing harassment, discrimination, and bullying both within and beyond our campus community. University-wide policies concerning discrimination and bullying were reviewed and drafted during a three-year, community-based process. The resulting Non-Discrimination and Anti-Bullying (NDAB) Policies became effective on September 1, 2023.
HMS encourages community members to reach out to the Office of Human Resources (OHR) and other University resources to review and discuss any concerns. We are available to help community members navigate supportive resources, discuss informal ways of addressing concerns, and to assist individuals with navigating informal resolution procedures and formal complaint processes.
Community members may also contact the Harvard Ombuds Office, a confidential resource available to anyone from the Harvard community, including faculty, trainees, staff, students and those with a Harvard appointment at an affiliate institution, to discuss concerns, clarify goals and consider options and next steps.
Finally, the Office for Community Support, Non-Discrimination, Rights and Responsibilities (CSNDR) is available to provide support, information, or advice regarding concerns related to Harvard's NDAB policies. Learn more about NDAB supports.
